            <description>Every Master Chef should have their own cookware set, and in that set, a pan. I decided to put together a short list of the best turners for use with pan that I own and have grown to love over the ears, and what they all are for, not only so I could share it with everyone, but just as an aid to my own memory which seems to be failing me at times lately!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;And oh, dear, what is a turner? Why, something that you flip or transport food with!&lt;br&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;5 by 3&quot; or 8 by 3&quot; Turner with Metal Head: Angled, flat tool with a
handle for flipping or moving food. The larger size is for larger pans only. Flipping food on a hot surface, such as hamburgers on a
grill. Also moving things, and crushing foods like garlic. You can use it to transport grilled vegetable Napoleon or gooey grilled cheese sandwiches from your pan to your plates! The best materials are to have stainless steel
for the flat part, wood for the handle to keep your hand cool!&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Silicone spatulas: Very nice to use for those nonstick pans. For these, get one where the mixing part goes all the way to the handle
so no food will get stuck around the head/handle part. They also have
low heat resistance so you will have to be careful not to leave them in the pan too long!&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Slotted, Triangular Head Turner: (AKA Paltec) Slots in the flat part
make it easier to slide under food. The rim at the end of the flat slotted part should be angled slightly upwards. Really great for turning fish.
Get one Stainless steel, one Nylon.
